Individual Consultation Sessions

Individual Coaching Sessions

The stories we create can be both a blessing and a curse. When our stories create possibilities for growth and the courage to act, our ideas of self and others serve us well. When our stories, however, are inherited scripts of dis-ease, dysfunction, and despair, these mere words can undermine the very foundation of our lives. The stories we inherited as well as the meaning we have made of them live in our physical bodies as well our minds, shaping both our features and our possible self. The good news is that both our bodies and our stories are open to transformation.

These 90 minute sessions are for individuals who are motivated to make significant changes in their life. The most important aspect of coaching is the partnership between client and coach. Your willingness to tackle any aspect of your life that is holding you back and your willingness to reflect on your own choices and behavior are the most powerful levers for change that you posses. I can provide guidance, support, and insights on the path, and it is your path to take. I honor your courage in choosing to engage the process of change.

I bring a wealth of wisdom, clarity, and skill acquired over many years of practice, study, and life experience to help you determine your best path forward. Sessions with me include inquiry, gentle non-invasive somatic work, constellations with mats or objects, and other approaches.

Couples Consultation

These sessions are for couples who are willing to actively work together to resolve long-standing or current issues. Your ability to form a working relationship with each other and with me around the core issues we define together will determine whether or not we are successful in finding resolution. Couples sessions may involve individual consultations as well as constellation work and somatic exercises or coaching. My practice does not have resources to support domestic violence or legal cases.

What usually happens in a consultation session with Jane?

Once you get settled in, I will gather background information on your situation, and clarify with you your goals for the session. Sessions include conversation, gentle non-invasive somatic work, constellations with mats or objects, and occasionally light hypnosis. Over the years, I’ve found that I am able to work with people more effectively in longer, less frequent sessions, so initial sessions are typically between one and a half to two hours. Longer, mini-intensives of three to four hours are also available, and these are very economical if you are traveling from out of town to work with me.

My goal is to work myself out of a job as soon as possible so you can get on with enjoying your life. Drawing on my diverse background in attachment theory, trauma resolution, interpersonal neurobiology, shamanism, somatic imaging, constellations, and more, we weave together lasting solutions to the issues that challenge you.

What do I need to do to prepare?

If the issue involves a long standing family pattern, it can be helpful to gather information and construct a simple genogram before the session. A willingness to explore and a commitment to your own evolution and well-being (even though that may be the challenge at hand!) are the most helpful ingredients in making change.
