I once heard mastery described in terms of learning to play chess. A novice is focused on learning the names of the pieces and how each moves. An apprentice has learned to look at where the different pieces are on the board in relation to one another. A journeyman recognizes the next few possible moves available from the current set up. And, a master can anticipate where the next several moves of both herself and her opponent could lead, all the way to a possible checkmate. Interestingly, all these definitions play out within the given rules of the game. A wizard, the teacher explained to me, was someone who understood the game so well, they could change the rules by which it was played.

Where ever you are in your journey of mastering the art and skill of constellation facilitation, the more you grasp the deep structure of the game, the more creative and effective you can be in service of your clients.

Introducing our

2024 in-depth, in-person training modules

Mastery of skill does not exclude working with heart or intuition, though as Bert Hellinger himself describes, there is a critical difference between seeing and intuition that will noticeably shape your facilitation. If you truly love the systemic constellation work, you will gain access to the bones of the work in these modules, the deep structure that gives rise to the surface magic.

Participants in these courses will embrace personal growth and self-knowledge as well as developing skill at the craft of facilitation in this form. Beyond the “feels” that draw many to this work, these trainings are for those who care deeply for their clients’ well being and are courageous enough to grow.

During these courses you will be in the care of an international master trainer, Jane Peterson, PhD, who has more than two decades of teaching experience. Using demos, small group learning activities, practice sessions, video coaching and feedback, you will benefit from a deep, interactive, living engagement with constellation work with like-minded, caring peers. Each module focuses in on a crucial part of the facilitation process allowing you to align your training money and time with your growing edge. You can select one, two, three course or the whole program depending on your goals for yourself.

The program consists of four in-depth, in-person 4-day modules that can be taken a la carte, in combination or as a whole program depending on your developing edge and learning desires. Discounts add up as you add more modules.

Each module begins on Thursday afternoon and ends Sunday at lunch time.

1

THE ART OF SKILLFUL INQUIRY: CHAIRWORK

March 21-24, 2024

  • It all starts in the chair with the initial meeting and interview. Good chair work enables effective floor, table, or zoom work. You will no longer have to “put it on the floor” to figure out where to tap.

  • Gain permission to go deep while building trust and honesty in the facilitator-client relationship.

  • Ask the precise questions that get you to the heart of the issue without missing important details.

  • Recognize the system in the story so that you can quickly get to the client’s real issue.

  • Identify the key leverage points that make your facilitation easier and more effective.

2

THE ART OF COLLABORATIVE CHANGE: FLOORWORK

May 16-19, 2024

  • Identify the key movements and healing order in the pattern on the floor so that you can unfold the constellation with greater ease and confidence.

  • Get the best out of your reps and deal gracefully with “troublesome” reps. Working with reps will make your table top or virtual work more effective.

  • Follow the natural rhythm of the client and the constellation to pace your work, to “follow so fast it looks like you’re leading”.

  • Gain the most useful perspective from which to facilitate effectively.

  • Know when anyhow to apply the principles of constellation work on the floor.

  • Know when to stop, when “it’s enough.”

3

THE ART OF CREATIVE TRANSFORMATION: INNOVATING WITH CONSTELLATION WORK

July 18-21, 2024

  • Break free of the “workshop” framework and learn to use constellation work as a creative palette in designing interventions for families or organizations.

  • Grasp the deep structure of what makes constellation work effective so that you can be creative and match your offering to your clients’ needs.

  • Engage in productive play with your groups and clients while working on deep issues.

  • Increase collaboration and client responsibility for outcomes.

  • Attend to group dynamics and safety to increase connection and sharing within your groups.

4

THE ART OF WORKING SOMATICALLY: USING SOMATIC SIGNALS

September 12-15, 2024

  • Identify the system in the client’s performance of the story of their issue.

  • Go beyond the words to the deeper story your client’s system is holding

  • Identify which signals are important and which to let pass

  • Gain permission to tap into these vulnerable communications

Optional one-day experimental workshops accompany each module
