Walking directions from the Hospitality Inn to H.S.I. Offices
From the Hospitality Inn motel, turn left and head downhill (north) on Capitol Hwy (stay on the west side of the street). Go to the intersection of SW Barbur Blvd and Capitol Hwy. Use the cross-walk light to safely cross to the other side of Capitol Hwy.
Once you are on the other side of Capitol, use the cross-walk light to safely cross Barbur Blvd. (There is no direct way to cross Barbur on the west side of Capitol Hwy.) These are busy streets, please use appropriate awareness and caution.
Once across Barbur, continue down SW Capitol Hwy. There is a dirt pathway on the east side of SW Capitol Hwy. The cross street you are looking for is SW LOBELIA. (Lobelia is only on the opposite side (west) of the road. You will be walking down the east side of the street.)
Carefully cross Capitol Hwy at Lobelia (there is no crosswalk here, so be alert). Walk down SW Lobelia (heading west) to the first intersection, SW 42nd.
Turn right onto SW 42nd. Go to the end of the street (about half a block of paved area). To your left, you will see a chain fence and a large concrete water cistern. Follow the cedar chip path along the fence (turning left at the corner of the fence). You will continue a little past the half-way point along the fenced area around the cistern.
On your right among the trees you will see a two-story, brown, wood-sided building. This is the back of the H.S.I. Offices. Follow the cedar-chip path around the building to the front door.
